Blooming Hopscotch Mini Album

I made a smaller envelope mini album last week, and decided to go for a little more "modern" feel.  (I tend to do a lot of 'Shabby Chic' and Vintage).  I really like the finished results, though I still fuss too much, I think, over the embellishment details.  I have to laugh - I had the album base, binding and mats put together in a couple hours and then spent 3 days adding all the rest.  Heh!  The colors and style (somewhat minimalistic) reminded me a lot of my days as a little girl drawing pictures and hopscotch grids with sidewalk chalk - so I decided to name it "Blooming Hopscotch".

Cards - Gifts, Make-and-Takes and Swaps

It's been awhile since I've posted anything and so I thought I'd put together a quick post of some of the cards I've made for my SU Group Meeting Swaps and Make-and-Takes and as gifts for friends and family.  Though I'm not a big card maker, I really enjoy the opportunity to take a break on occasion, to make up some cards.

Life and Crafts

Hey all,

I had really hoped to have a few more posts of completed projects, videos and more up since my last - but life gets hectic.  Really its just been a lot of little things (and a few not so little things) that have  happened/needed attention that all added up to "not much time for crafts".  Thankfully though, it looks like things are finally settling back down again and I'm able to put Whimsical DeeSigns back toward the top of the list once again. Yay!

So without a lot of unnecessary babbling about unrelated stuff - here's at least a little update...

My Etsy store has a bunch of  DESTASH items in it (mostly rubber stamps at the moment), with quite a bit more to follow.  I did some clean-up and reorganizing of my stuff this past month when time permitted, and so I'm clearing out the proverbial craft closet.  If you're looking for some good deals on craft supplies, its probably worth a visit my Etsy shop.  I'll be adding more stuff weekly through the end of the month.  I also have some handmade Card Candy (Embellishments) up for sale as well.

Also have some pretty new items (project) in the works, though not quite ready to share on those yet - but will have pics and post on those, ideally, in the next two weeks.  And some new video+tidbits = vidbits to share, hopefully before the end of the month.

Blog Going through another rennovation (Updated)

Apparently some of the changes I made to customize blogger's design template have caused some issues - biggest one is that sharing icons won't work for posts, which I think are sort of important.  Second one is that I can't seem to get my Google calendar to work properly either - also a little important as I plan to put my class schedule and other events there for people.  Anyway, that means I'm going to need to revert back to the bare bones version of my blog and then start fresh to make updates.  So things may be a bit wonky on the blog for a few days.  I'll make an update note when I'm all done.  Sorry for any temporary glitches.

UPDATES 12-18-2014:  With the holidays literally around the corner, I've been having a hard time managing my hours for work on the web site and keeping up with real world holiday hubbub. :)  So I fully hope to have the site renovations and updates in place, but it will likely be mid-January before everything is done. And I promise not to natter on about "...coming soon" sort of posts.  I'll just do one more on topic once all the updates are in place.
